More than 400,000 items produced each year, as many as 20 export countries, more than 150 tons of extruded aluminum and more than 200 tons of steel used each year.
These are, in a nutshell, the numbers that have transformed a small artisan business established in 1957 into the company that now works on an international scale.

THE STORY.

Officine Volta was founded in Bologna in 1957 and its main business is the construction of aluminum window frames and other steel carpentry products. Over the years, the small artisan business evolved, introducing a new production line dedicated to the construction of accessories for air conditioning and ventilation systems. A true innovation for that time, which, in a short time, completely replaced the company's initial activity. Continuous renewal and steady growth in economic results have transformed a handicraft business, consisting of a few people with skilled hands, into an industrial reality that conducts its business on an international scale.
In 1999, the company's new policy focused on the search for innovative production technologies, and thanks to the far-sighted vision of the ownership, an innovative product testing and verification room was built within the industrial plant, bringing the company to a higher level of quality.
At the end of 2017, as the company turned 60, the experience gained in the previous decades was fully capitalized. It is time to renew the corporate structure: ownership and management coincide. Since May 2018, it has been the group of people who, having grown up within the company and gained the necessary experience, lead the company into the future. A new building is acquired, and the new partners decide to move the industrial activity to the new plant at 20 Via degli Artigiani, in the industrial area of Castel San Pietro Terme (BO), just a short distance from the highway exit.

1957 Officine Giuseppe Volta is founded - 1961 The business begins to deal with air convection systems - 1978 Incorporation of Officine Volta srl - 1998 UNI-EN-ISO 9001 certification - 1999 Acquisition of the company by the Bossini family - 2002 Relocation of the 15,000sqm production facility to Castel San Pietro - 2018 New corporate structure and relocation of production to Via degli Artigiani 20 in Castel San Pietro Terme.
