CFD – Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, Officine Volta can analyze fluid dynamics problems through the use of specific software. CFD is a very useful tool and an important support for the design of mechanical ventilation systems.
Through such analysis, the behavior of air in certain environments can be verified by evaluating various physical parameters such as temperature, velocity, pressure and other properties, which can be visualized through a three-dimensional representation, in order to find a solution that ensures compliance with comfort conditions.
Officine Volta makes its know-how available for better support to designers, keeping in mind that the usefulness and reliability of the analysis will be all the greater as the correspondence between the design data and boundary conditions imputed in the model and the actual data.
BIM
BIM stands for Building Information Modeling. It is an increasingly popular operational methodology that contains all information regarding the entire life cycle of a building, from its design to construction and beyond. Thanks to BIM, it is possible to create a virtual model of the building which is not just a 3D reproduction but a model that contains a multitude of information about geometry, materials, facilities, costs, maintenance, etc.
