Micro-nozzle diffuser for circular duct — PP.TD / PF.TD

CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS

Adjustable micro-nozzle diffuser, equipped with retaining rings and fully orientable in all directions up to a maximum angle of 30°, featuring a 28 mm perimeter frame curved to fit circular ducts.
They are particularly suitable in cases where different air throw directions are required for individual micro-nozzles due to architectural or structural constraints, especially to bypass obstacles such as beams, ceiling drops, pillars, or columns.

When arranged in multiple rows, the air jets can be freely diverged both horizontally and vertically, significantly expanding the effective coverage area.
Due to their high induction effect, resulting from the division of airflow into numerous small jets, there is a rapid reduction in air velocity and in the temperature difference between supply air and room air.
These diffusers are suitable for use in both constant and variable air volume (VAV) systems, operating within a 40% to 100% flow range, for both cooling and heating, with a maximum recommended ΔT of ±10 K.

Variants:

  • PP.TD: microugelli montati su piastra piena;
  • PF.TD: micro-nozzles mounted on a perforated plate – for the same airflow rate, the air jet velocity will be significantly lower compared to the PP.TD model, resulting in shorter throw distances.
