CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
Circular Diffuser with Fixed Stamped Cones, consisting of concentric conical rings welded to rigid radial support brackets.
The DS. series circular fixed cone diffusers are designed for flush ceiling installation and can be used for both supply and return air applications. They are suitable for installation heights ranging from 2.7 m to 4.2 m, providing a radial air jet with a “Coanda effect.” A central hole is included for possible damper adjustment.
The profile of the conical rings making up the diffuser is designed to operate effectively with a temperature difference of ±10 K between the supply air and the ambient air.
Installation in rectangular ducts, flush with the lower surface of the duct and with dimensions significantly larger than those of the diffuser, is possible as the “ceiling effect” is still partially maintained.
Installation in square or circular ducts using a connector is not recommended, as it would result in a “free jet” airflow pattern, with upward deflection (positive ΔT, heating) or downward deflection (negative ΔT, cooling).
