CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
DL.PL series single-air linear diffusers with concealed perimeter frame are generally installed in confined spaces with a height between 2.7 and 4.0 m and intended for systems operating with temperature differences between room air and supply air of ± 10 K. The most frequently used type of installation is flush plasterboard, with ceiling installation (with vertical throw) and wall installation (with horizontal throw). In the wall-mounted case, if the distance between the upper edge of the diffuser and the ceiling is less than 200 mm, a coanda effect is obtained; otherwise, a free-field throw is obtained.
The DL.PL series consists of a single body (diffuser and plenum chamber), providing a great advantage for installation, with reduced installation time.
The concealed perimeter frame, specifically designed to facilitate installation above plasterboard, makes the DL.PL series highly appreciated by designers, who see in it not only functional HVAC performance but also an architectural design element.
These diffusers can be used for both supply and return air and are suitable for variable air volume (VAV) systems operating within the 50% to 100% flow range.
In special configurations, multiple units can be installed in sequence to create continuous linear strips that follow the ideal perimeter line of the room.
