Circular Diffuser with Adjustable Stamped Cones, consisting of concentric cones that can be manually adjusted from the front by rotation.
The CE. and CE.Q series circular adjustable cone diffusers are suitable for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. In addition to their appealing design and extremely quick installation (CE.Q series), they allow the airflow direction to be varied from horizontal to vertical. A central hole is provided for potential damper adjustment.
CE. series diffusers can be mounted on ceilings or exposed ductwork. They can be connected using circular flexible ducting, either directly to the diffuser’s inlet neck or via an optional distribution plenum. For proper and uniform air distribution, ceiling installation is essential to benefit from the “ceiling effect” or “Coanda effect”; otherwise, the airflow should be considered as free jet distribution.
To achieve significant air induction, it is recommended to set the adjustable cones between 6 and 12 turns from the fully closed position. The diffusers are supplied pre-set in the intermediate position.
Variants::
- CE.Q: square version suitable for replacing a standard 600×600 mm ceiling panel.
- CE.T: version with automatic adjustment via thermostatic actuator, made of shape memory materials (Nickel, Titanium).
Deflection angle is regulated through mechanical stop positions equipped with a colored graduated scale located inside the connector.
