CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
The BF.ZEG series linear slot diffusers, with one or more slots and a concealed perimeter frame, are generally installed in enclosed environments with a height ranging from 2.7 to 4.0 meters, and are designed for HVAC systems operating with a temperature difference between room air and supply air of ±10 K.The most common installation method is ceiling-mounted, which allows full use of the Coandă effect. They can also be installed on walls; in this case, if the distance between the upper edge of the diffuser and the ceiling is less than 200 mm, the Coandă effect is still achieved. Otherwise, the air throw occurs in free space.
When each slot is set to discharge air in opposite directions, the so-called “opposed throw” is achieved.
The concealed perimeter frame, specifically designed to facilitate plaster finishing, makes the BF.ZEG series highly appreciated by architects and designers, who see in it not only technical HVAC functionality but also an aesthetic design element. They can be used for both supply and return air, and are suitable for variable air volume (VAV) systems operating within the 50% to 100% flow range. In special execution, they can be mounted one after the other to form continuous strips that, with the use of special non-active angle pieces, are able to follow the ideal line of the room perimeter. All’interno di ogni feritoia è montato un elemento di deflessione orientabile
manualmente dal fronte, che consente una direzione del lancio variabile da orizzontale a verticale.
