CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS
Pressure-independent, constant/variable air volume (CAV/VAV) terminal unit, suitable for supply or return applications, consisting of:
- Casing with Class B leakage according to UNI EN 12237 standard;
- Sound-absorbing section consisting of rock wool panels faced with a special abrasion-resistant, washable, and disinfectable non-woven glass fiber fabric; Euroclass A1 fire resistance rating (allowing installation in environments requiring high levels of asepsis, such as operating rooms and general hospital environments);
- Sensor for the measurement of differential pressure proportional to the airflow rate;
- Actuator and control unit (factory-mounted and wired).
REP3 series terminal units are devices for pressure reduction and for regulating both supply and return airflow rates in variable air volume (VAV) systems, or for maintaining a constant preset flow rate.
Variants:
- REP3.M: Circular air inlet and rectangular air outlet, for SUPPLY operation;
- REP3.R: Rectangular air inlet and circular air outlet, for RETURN operation.
