CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS
Rectangular pressure relief damper with aluminum louvers, complete with seals on the blades.
Aluminum through-pivot pins, secured within the perimeter flange.
SO. series pressure relief dampers are suitable for installation in ventilation and air conditioning systems, for operation in both exhaust and intake modes.
During system operation, the pressure inside the ductwork keeps the blades open. When the system is off, gravity acts on the blades, causing them to close. This offers excellent protection against bird ingress (even more effective when a mesh or screen is fitted) and rain penetration.
Variants:
- SO.M: version with a 25 mm perimeter frame for WALL installation, supplied for EXHAUST or INTAKE operation (to be specified when ordering);
- SO.C: version with a 30 mm double perimeter flange for DUCT installation.
