CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS
Circular, mechanical, constant air volume (CAV) terminal unit, independent of pressure variations in the supply duct, operating without external energy supply.
It consists of an asymmetrically pivoted blade with a counterweight, and a pneumatic cylinder containing a control spring that generates an opposing torque. Its manual calibration, also adjustable after installation, determines the airflow rate.
TRN.MEC. series CAV terminal units are designed to maintain a preset constant airflow rate for maximum pressure differentials up to 1000 Pa.
Operating temperatures: from -30°C to +100°C.
Variants:
- TRN.MEC.ISO: features a 25 mm or 50 mm thick sound-insulating jacket to reduce breakout noise.
