CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS
Acoustic grille for outside air intake or exhaust, with a noise reduction function, consisting of:
- Frame, 40 mm deep, equipped with a perimeter flange;
- Sheet metal louvers, 1 mm thick, 150 mm pitch, with a special profile for housing the sound-absorbing material;
- Sound-absorbing material with a protective micro-expanded mesh.
The limit for airflow velocity is 3.0 m/s, based on rainwater rejection performance: up to this speed, raindrops run down the louver profile by gravity; at higher speeds, they tend to be carried up the profile and penetrate the grille.
Pressure drop tests conducted according to UNI CTI 8728 standard at the Giordano Institute (test report No. 136363).
Sound attenuation tests conducted according to EN ISO 11691 standard at the Giordano Institute (test report No. 149876).
